Refund, Return, and Missing Shipment Policy
(Hereinafter the “Policy”) Updated on September 1, 2025
WHEREAS, Clrear Light Cedar (hereinafter the “Company”), being engaged in the lawful trade of goods (“Products”), desires to delineate the conditions under which refunds, returns, or redress for alleged missing shipments shall be administered; and
WHEREAS, the Customer (hereinafter the “Customer”), upon execution of any purchase order, acknowledges, consents, and agrees to be bound by the stipulations, limitations, carve-outs, exceptions, provisos, and contingencies set forth herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the parties do hereby agree as follows:
Section I. Definitions
1.1 “Shipment Date” shall mean the calendar date upon which (a) the Company delivers possession of the Products to a carrier of its choosing, or (b) a tracking number is generated, whichever occurs first in time.
1.2 “Delivery Confirmation” shall mean any notice, record, or digital entry provided by the carrier, the mere existence of which shall constitute irrefutable prima facie evidence of delivery, regardless of Customer’s protestations to the contrary.
1.3 “RMA” shall mean a Return Merchandise Authorization code, without which no return shall be recognized, processed, or acknowledged.
1.4 “Business Day” shall mean any day other than Saturday, Sunday, or a day designated as a federal holiday, as well as any day the Company elects, in its sole discretion, to close operations.
1.5 “Restocking Fee” shall mean a non-refundable percentage of the purchase price withheld by the Company as compensation for administrative burden, warehouse disquiet, and other ineffable inconveniences.
Section II. Missing Shipments
2.1 A Product shall be deemed “missing” only if (a) thirty (30) Business Days have elapsed from the Shipment Date for domestic orders (or sixty (60) Business Days for international orders), and (b) no Delivery Confirmation exists.
2.2 If Delivery Confirmation exists, the Product shall not, for purposes of this Policy, be considered “missing,” even if Customer avers theft, loss, or interdimensional disappearance.
2.3 Customer must notify the Company in writing within five (5) Business Days following the applicable threshold. Notice shall include (i) order number, (ii) proof of identity, (iii) photographs of the purported delivery locus, and (iv) an affidavit sworn under penalty of perjury attesting to non-receipt.
2.4 Failure to provide timely notice, in strict accordance with Section 2.3, shall forever bar the Customer’s claim.
Section III. Returns
3.1 No Product shall be returnable absent a duly issued RMA. Returns lacking such RMA shall be refused, abandoned, or summarily destroyed without refund.
3.2 Customer must request RMA within fourteen (14) calendar days of Delivery Confirmation.
3.3 Products must be returned unused, unopened, and in commercially resalable condition, accompanied by all packaging, inserts, and ancillary items.
3.4 Customer shall bear risk of loss during transit of returned Products until such time as the Company physically inspects and accepts them.
Section IV. Refunds
4.1 Refund eligibility arises solely upon (a) Company verification of a missing shipment under Section II, or (b) Company receipt and inspection of a valid return under Section III.
4.2 Refunds shall be made, at Company’s discretion, in the original medium of payment, or in store credit, gift card, or scrip of equivalent value.
4.3 Refunds may require not fewer than thirty (30) Business Days for processing, subject to delays caused by banks, payment processors, or acts of God.
4.4 Shipping, handling, duties, customs, and taxes are categorically non-refundable.
Section V. Fees and Deductions
5.1 All refunds are subject to a Restocking Fee of not less than fifteen percent (15%) and not more than fifty percent (50%), the precise quantum of which shall be determined by the Company in its unfettered discretion.
5.2 Bundle refunds shall be recalculated as though each Product were purchased at full retail price, discounts and promotions being deemed null ab initio.
5.3 The Company reserves the right to deduct the value of promotional items, samples, or other gratuitous accoutrements included with the original order.
Section VI. Exclusions
6.1 Final sale, clearance, custom, consumable, perishable, or limited-edition Products are excluded ab initio from refund or return.
6.2 Any Product altered, damaged, or rendered unsanitary post-delivery shall be ineligible.
6.3 Delivery Confirmed packages shall not qualify for refund, save as required by law.
Section VII. Customer Obligations
7.1 Customer shall ensure the accuracy of shipping details. Erroneous addresses shall not constitute grounds for redress.
7.2 Customer shall cooperate fully with carrier investigations, provide requested documentation, and execute affidavits as reasonably required.
7.3 Non-cooperation shall constitute forfeiture of claims hereunder.
Section VIII. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1 This Policy shall be governed by, construed, and enforced under the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflicts of law.
8.2 Venue and jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with the state and federal courts of Bernalillo County, NM.
8.3 Customer hereby waives, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the right to trial by jury.
Section IX. Severability
Should any provision of this Policy be deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision shall be construed to the maximum extent permissible.
Section X. Amendments
The Company may amend this Policy at any time, with or without notice. The version operative at the time of purchase shall control, except where subsequent amendment is mandated by statutory law.
IN SUMMATION: The Company decides what is missing, what is returnable, and what is refundable. You, the Customer, agree to abide, comply, and cooperate.

All of the information obtained from our Web site will be used for processing purposes only. The only e-mails you will receive from us will be updates/questions about recent orders and/or returns and notices about our month specials. If you do not want to receive our monthly bulletins, we will remove your name from our mailing list.
Orders
Minimum charge card order is $25, please.
We ship by UPS whenever possible because it is faster and safer. Orders are usually shipped within seven (7) days of receipt. We will notify you of any expected delays.
Shipping rates outside the Continental United States should be doubled. USPS rates may be higher.
New Mexico residents please add 6% sales tax.

DELIVERY TIMES
Because we wildcraft our products in small batches to order, please allow up to three weeks from time of order for us to fill, label and ship, your products to your door. If your order is particularly urgent, we recommend that you opt for 2 or 3-day air and notify us of this request at time of order, express charges may apply.
SHIPPING
Shipments returned due to customer’s absence or refusal can be reshipped at customer’s expense. For any questions regarding your order please contact your account representative at Help@ClearLightNM.com.
BACKORDERS
While we make every attempt to keep farm fresh ingredients in stock, working with natural ingredients makes specific items hard to source. Any product that is not available for immediate shipping may be placed on backorder and shipped as soon as it is available.

We do returns differently than most.
We get it - You're about to purchase something you can't smell until you have it in hand. To make sure you're happy no matter what, we will make it right at any time, no matter what.
Not everyone loves the same scents. If your selection isn't your vibe, exchange it for a different scent or simply return it for your money back.
Here are more examples:
- Mailman dunks the package on your porch. We will replace it.
- Gremlins steal your order off your porch. We will replace it.
- Candle melts in your mailbox. We will replace it.
- Dog eats your perfume. Send us a photo of your dog (oh, and we'll also replace it).
- Your roll-on perfume is "confiscated" by TSA. Who can blame them? We'll replace it.
