Celebrating the 1st Anniversary of the Show!

This August, we’re flipping the script—and dropping the melody.
Your challenge: Take the lyrics of a stage or movie musical song, strip away the music, and perform it as a dramatic or comedic monologue.
No singing allowed. Just pure, unfiltered emotion, sass, satire, or Shakespearean intensity. You choose the vibe.
Bring the drama. Bring the weird. Bring the wow.
(Maybe even bring a chair to dramatically sit in halfway through.)
🎬 How to Enter:
Choose any musical theatre or film musical song.
Perform the lyrics only as a monologue—dramatic, comedic, absurdist, tragic, interpretive dance with voiceover… just no singing!
Your piece must include at least one full verse and one full chorus, but keep it under 2 minutes.
Record your performance (vertical or horizontal video accepted).
Upload to Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, include the name of the musical and song, and tag:
