You’re invited inside Cactus Club. Sunday, April 19 | 6–8 PM
Join us for an evening at the Center for Contemporary Arts movie theater for an intimate fundraising event and first look at Cactus Club. This is a project built right here in New Mexico—by local artists, for a national stage—and this evening is about opening the doors and sharing what we’ve been creating.
You’ll experience our full proof-of-concept film, along with a chance to meet the team and hear how Cactus Club is designed to grow into a long-term series with real impact for our creative community.
We’re currently working to meet a $30,000 match by May 1 through our fiscal sponsor, the New Mexico Film Foundation, which would greenlight the production to begin filming this summer. Every contribution goes directly to this 100% New Mexican production.
But more than anything, this is an invitation to be in the room. To see it early. To feel what it is. And to decide if you want to be part of what happens next.

If we don't raise $30,000+ then we get $0.00!

We won’t mail a postcard, but we send great emails.
What Is Cactus Club?
Two small-time criminals fleeing Chicago land in Cactus Falls, New Mexico—a remote desert town hiding a violent feud, a trafficking operation, and a landscape that does not forgive mistakes.
Cactus Club blends:
Crime drama
Dark humor
Southwest realism and myth
Character-driven storytelling
At its core, the series explores survival, loyalty, and what happens when outsiders underestimate the land—and the people who protect it.
Why This Project Matters
Independent television is disappearing—not because audiences don’t want it, but because the path to funding and visibility is broken.
Cactus Club is built as a response to that problem.
We are developing a model that is:
Audience-first
Transparent in fundraising
Sustainable in production
Rooted locally, aimed nationally
You are not donating to an abstract idea.
You are helping build a repeatable ecosystem for independent storytelling.
How Support Is Used
All donations are made through the New Mexico Film Foundation, our nonprofit fiscal sponsor.
Contributions are:
Tax-deductible
Tracked and reported transparently
Directed exclusively toward project development and production
Funds support:
Short-form narrative episodes and proof-of-concept content
Equipment, locations, and post-production
Festival submissions and industry outreach
Audience growth and series packaging
Every contribution—large or small—moves the project forward.
Built With Structure (Not Chaos)
Cactus Club is organized as a professional production from day one.
The project operates with:
Defined creative and producing leadership
Clear accountability and reporting
Dedicated committees for content, fundraising, production, publicity, and story development
This structure allows the series to scale without burning out creatives or wasting donor support.
